This is such a great lesson. I think it’s easy for all of us to forget that we can accomplish anything we want to do; we just need to put in the hard work to do it.

I always come back to the following quote by Austin Kleon: “So many people want to be the noun without doing the verb.”

It’s tempting to want to be seen as a writer without doing the writing. But once we focus on the verb and actually start writing, we get out of our own way and live into the future we want for ourselves.
